The purpose of this business plan is to obtain capital and to secure private equity funding.
The total amount of capital needed is PHP 1,000,000.00 -1,500,000.00

The Business, DRAGON FRUIT and JELLY BEANS PARLOR/CAFE IS A SUBSIDIARY OF TESTMAN ENTERPRISES INTERNATIONAL. This structure was chosen because of its operational simplicity.

DRAGON FRUIT and JELLY BEANS ICE CREAM PARLORS/CAFE will be an independent, start-up venture. The proposed launch date for the venture will be November 2019 if funds are obtain by September 2019.

This business plan documentation documents the precise strategies and activities that will be taken in order to commence operations of the business. DRAGON FRUIT AND JELLY BEANS ICE CREAM PARLOR/CAFE main headquarter will be located at Brgy 29, San Juan, Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte, Philippines 2917.
The first two of the ice cream parlors will be located at Brgy 29, Jose Rizal, llaoag, City, Philippines, and Aurora Park, Rizal Street, Laoag City, Philippines.

At this time, the property at Brgy 28 STO Thomas, Laoag City in already on lease.
The property at Brgy 9, Aurora Park Laoag City, Has all ready been approve by the city mayor, Mayor Micheal keon. We are just waiting for the lease agreement.

DRAGON FRUIT and JELLY BEANS ICE CREAM PARLOR/CAFE #1 [AURORA PARK] , which is located in front of the Provincial Capital Building, and parallel to the City major supermarket, will have seating for fifty-five people at one time. There will be unlimited stand-up space, also takeout.

AURORA PARK is the City’s only inter-city park. It is also the city’s tourist attraction and site for all the City’s outdoor events.

DRAGON FRUIT and JELLY BEANS PARLOR/CAFE #2, is on the east side of same main road lead out of the city, and across from one of the City main private hospital. #2 will have indoor and outdoor seating for 20-30 patrons at one time, along with an unlimited take-out service.


The rent is PHP 4,000.00 for #2, and #1 PHP10,000.00 a month, with a five-year lease and a grantee option of five more years. Site # 1 consists of a 40 x 40 square-foot outdoor area with a 15 x 15 building in the middle, open on three side, to be use for food and ice cream preparation.

The designs for both property can be look at upon request.

The building needs to be plumbed and wired appropriately. Painting, new floors, and counter tops are also needed. With materials bought on sale and volunteer labor, the cost to renovate will be PHP 250,000.00.The kitchen will be equipped with a commercial stove, refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, and three compartment sink. With bargain (but quality) equipment, the cost will be PHP 500,000.00. Other start-up expenses will be dishes, furniture, food inventory, rent deposit, and marketing.

For site # 2, need the same remodeling done, and the same equipment, therefore the cost will be parallel.


We will serve a basic American-style breakfast and lunch that will remain on the daily menu. Diner, American and other International cuisines, it will be the Chef will offer one of two diner to choose from each day. with an emphasis on healthy, tasty food. Low-fat recipes will be used whenever possible in such a way as not to sacrifice taste or appeal.

Menu items for breakfast will range from PHP 200.00 – 450.00 [$4-9]. Lunch items will range from PHP 250.00 – 500.00 [$5-10.00] Dinner PHP300-500 [$6-1000]. Daily soups and salads specials will be offered. See the attached menu for details.
Hours of operation will be 24, 7 days a week.

Chef Andre O. Testman oversee all operation in the front and back of the house. Additional staff will consist of a full-time back-up cooks [6], dishwashers/cleaners [6] and six waitresses.
Two of each for each shift. We will add more on each shift as need. Experienced staff members have already been located.

TARGET MARKET
Our target market are the locals working class, business class, home owners, tourist and expats.



Target revenue goal

The target revenue goal is PHP 5,000,000 [$ 100,000.] monthly.

Employees wages are PHP 250.00 [$5.00] per eight hour shift, which is above minimum wages in this country. Annually, the employees will share fifteenth percent of company’s net profit, and receive SSS and Philhealth benefits as well.

The estimated cost to furnishes the cost of remodeling and equipment and supplies are: remodeling [PHP 500,000.00 ] [$20,000.00] for each restaurant.
Equipment [PHP 500,000.00] [$20,000.00] for each restaurant.
Supplies [PHP 250,000.00] [$5,000.00} for each restaurant.
Totaling $ 90,000.00

FUTURE PLANS

To put a DRAGON FRUIT ICE CREAM PARLOR/CAFE in every provincial capital in northern Luzon and in the Philippines capital of Manila.

Our ice cream parlor/cafe company’s is the only company that has the capability to produce the world’s ONLY, healthiest ice cream and our restaurant which will be servicing original American and International cuisines in the country, by our American chef.

Marketing

The Industry Eating out is a growing trend, since people are increasingly pressed for time and enjoy this convenience. Breakfast and lunch are popular, as workers and business owners often choose not to “brown bag” meals. Choosing healthy, low-fat food is a concern. DRAGON FRUIT and JELLY BEANS ICE CREAM PARLOR/CAFE Will serve only the healthiest prepared dishes for all it customers. We promote our ice cream parlor/cafe on the insurance that we are the only producer of the world’s only healthy ice cream.
The menu will address that it is not just our ice cream that is of the healthiest ingredients, but the food is of the best grade in the county.

BUSINESS OWNERS, TOURIST, EXPATS and THE WORKING LOCAL POPULATION start their day here between 5 – 6 am. The population is over 150,000. All of the surrounding population contribute anther 600,000 plus. The tourist over 500,000 annually, Expats contribute out of the 225,000 in the Philippines, 15,000 are in the towns surrounding the Laoag City. A percentage of this group will make up our customer base.

COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS

The Competition- There not one person or company that is producing a HEALTHY ice cream , anywhere in the Philippines or any of part of the world.

In Ilocos Norte, there are no restaurants servicing original American-style cuisines.
